The world's first giant kinetic chocolate sculpture

The Project

The BONE SHAKER was the world's first 100% chocolate automata sculpture, a 120kg steampunk rhinoceros head with 6 moving parts. It was created using technologies never used before for chocolate making, such as C&C routing, chainsaw, 3d printing moulds, wood lathe and wood working tools.

It was the team's first collaborative project.

Sponsored by Callebaut Australia, it was completed and featured at the Smooth Festival of Chocolate in Sydney in 2017, attracting over 140,000 visitors over the weekend.
